1974年，13岁的雷恩生活在北加州，过着惬意舒服的生活。在她叛逆的母亲出现后，这一切就都结束了。突然出现的母亲带着孩子们搬离原来的住宅，远离了社区的安定。母亲开始了自暴自弃，以乞讨食物为生，雷恩和她的兄弟姐妹们只能孤独地相依为命，原本美好的家庭土崩瓦解。在遇上一系列的危险后，雷恩他们明白，必须凭借自己的努力，找到一条今后能生存的道路。

这个故事以Defeo悲剧的真实事件为出发点，同时聚焦于一个家庭内部的人间戏剧，他们被一股可怕的邪恶势力无情地纠缠。

北京电影学院2014届毕业联合作业，28分钟高清故事短片。编导：韩家女，摄影：马川、范超，美术：藤洪达，录音：谢金津，制片主任：杨乐。获得首都大学生微电影节优秀影片奖，第六届澳门国际电影节微电影大学生组澳天龙微电影大奖。 小学二年级学生云云的父母已经移民，他留在国内和年迈的爷爷奶奶一起过着平淡安稳的生活。爷爷是个沉默寡言的离退休老干部，年轻时曾经当兵打过仗，是个“又红又专”的严厉老人。云云不论在家在学校都是个标准的乖孩子，但同时也是看变形金刚和日本漫画，喝可乐长大的一代人，受西方文化影响很深，他盼望着父母早日来接自己，十分憧憬将来在国外的物质优裕的生活。

The series is set in a dystopian future in which Britain is under the grip of the Home Office's Department of Public Control (PCD), a tyrannically oppressive bureaucracy riding roughshod over the population's civil liberties. Edward Woodward plays Jim Kyle, a journalist on the last independent newspaper called The Star, who turns renegade and begins to fight the PCD covertly. The officials of the PCD, in turn, try to provide proof of Kyle's subversive activities.

The year begins with an energy crisis and petrol rationing. And there will be parental insurance so that even fathers can stay at home with their children. Cleaners around Sweden are on strike for better conditions. Worry grows for the Swedish tourists in the holiday paradise of Cyprus. That and much more in this column about the year 1974.
